WHOOOP IT’S FESTY TIME

The Big Bear Fest greedy bus is starting its engine…

We are currently looking at different venues but would appreciate an all out Twitter campaign for as many options as possible – after all, we have got to live up to the fabulous location of last year’s at Hedingham Castle! (PS: if anyone knows the owner, see if he will change his mind!)

Early Bird tickets are still available at last years prices – £20 standard & £26.50 camping – so fill yer boots and snap them up.

We have some great fund raising events lined up including:

  • The BBF Pub Olympics (Teams of four so start thinking who you will have to win Gold)

This February we have a stall at the Tourist & Leisure Show at Five Lakes.  Some help will be required for this so please check the post when it comes out.

We are getting excited and news and updates will be coming up frequently, so please keep checking back.

One Love

In a recent twitter exchange with Aaron from The Pins, he tweeted a picture of his broken ankle and said “I’ll do the other leg at next years Big Bear Fest!”

When we asked if the ankle was broken at the festival he replied  “think so yeah, jumping about too much! Worth it though”

Many of you will have seen The Pins play at the Big Bear Fest and how much energy the band put into their performance and all of us want to wish Aaron a speedy recovery so The Pins can get back playing and entertaining the masses!

The Pins To Play Big Bear Fest 2011

The Pins

Big Bear Fest are pleased to announce that The Pins will be performing at the Big Bear Fest 2011 Towerlands Park.

The Pins hail from the Essex/Hertfordshire borders and have been causing quite a stir in the short time that they have been together.

Having sold out their local club night for their first ever gig, The Pins went on to play headline shows in Harlow, Cambridge, Hertford, Chelmsford and Bishops Stortford. But it isn’t only the provincial towns that they have taken a liking to these guys as they have performed at a number of top venues in London including Proud, 229, The Water Rats, The Bull and Gate and 333 Motherbar.
